Maine Ganja Yoga

149 Moody Brook Rd South Paris, ME

Hi, I’m Lynsey.
I am a yoga instructor, nature lover, ski fanatic, and organic gardener.
Before earning my 200 Hour Yoga Alliance Teaching Certification under Deborah Koehn on Hawaii’s Big Island I took courses at the University of New Hampshire with concentrations in Business Management and Culinary Arts/Nutrition.
I began practicing Yoga in 2013 as a means of physical therapy for pain management after a ski injury left me suffering with chronic back pain and facing a horrific opiate addiction. As I began studying yoga and bringing the practice in my daily life I began to see concrete results, which included improvements in physical pain, and sustained abstinence from pharmaceutical medications, I realized that there was a lot more to yoga than just the physical benefits! Since 2016 I have completed over 500 hours of yoga teacher trainings and continuing education programs in the areas of addiction and yoga therapy.

Business Overview
My goal with Maine Ganja Yoga is to help yoga feel accessible to more people. Ganja Yoga isn\'t about fancy poses, or getting an intense workout; but rather a space for individuals to explore mindfulness and meditation in a new way, guided by the amazing ally that we can find in the many manifestations of the cannabis plant spirit.
