About this event

Qigong, or the movement of Qi (energy/life force) through the body, is the foundation of tai chi. Using simple, standing movements, we’ll explore the body/mind connection, how breath is central to this connection, and experience stress release. From the Chen style, we’ll also practice some simple agility movements. Suitable for beginners, or practitioners of any level.

Led by Loring Greenough member, Laura Smeaton.

This Class will take place on the following dates in 2021: May 12, June 9, July 14, August 11 and September 8. In the event of cancelation due to weather, registrants will be notified via email.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, class attendees must wear a mask and are required to adhere to social distancing guidelines which specify remaining no less than six feet apart from others.

SOCIAL DISTANCING WILL BE STRICTLY OBSERVED.

Due to SD guidelines, there is a strict cap on class attendance – only 30 participants will be allowed. No walk-ins.
