Dear SoulBeing Wellness Community,
Fall is fully upon us, complete with turning leaves, cozy candle scents, and all things pumpkin. This is, admittedly, my favorite time of year in New England. My husband and I got married in October in the White Mountains, and the whole month inspires nostalgia from that magical weekend celebrating with family and friends – all of whom I am missing especially this year. I have a feeling 2021 is going to be full of some larger than life parties, and I cannot wait.
October also marks the beginning of Q4 for many of us who mark time with a fiscal calendar. That means we are each preparing to navigate the final push of the year, the homestretch toward achieving our goals. At SoulBeing, we are ecstatic to have successfully closed an additional round of funding in Q3, setting us up to finish the year at warp speed in team growth and execution of our technical and commercial strategies. For now, I will keep a level of suspense appropriate to the time of year around the specifics of these initiatives, but I will gladly share that the work we will be doing in these final three months of 2020 is foundational to sparking real change in how US healthcare consumers approach navigating their personal health journey.
This year has been far from glamorous for all of us. Many days have been spent drowning in frustration, stagnation, uncertainty, doubt, and fear. I hope that the change of seasons is inspiring new hope and fresh energy in your professional and personal pursuits. I hope we have each recalibrated enough to realize the importance of celebrating little wins, and most importantly, celebrating each other.
I, for one, am certainly not rushing through these last months of 2020. Rather, I hope to cherish and honor each moment; even the moments that challenge me to my core. If this year has taught me anything, it is that a commitment to purpose and service to others is what drives me everyday and pushes me to attempt to achieve that which seems impossible. Cheers to you, and your impossible dreams as well.
Wishing you well,
Colleen
